Run for Water

A year ago I did a post on Abbotsford's "Run for Water." I did the 5k with Mike and my mom last year and it was a lot of fun. I was of course dreaming of getting a referral and being able to push our son in our stroller in next year's race.

And this year it is going to happen!!! Yeah!!!!! I'm so excited. This year my dad and his girl-friend are flying out from Toronto and will be doing the half-marathon too! They're crazy. Anyways, if you live in the Fraser Valley you should sign up and help bring clean water to a village in Ethiopia.

What we've been up to the past two months:

I can't believe we've already been home over two months! People definitely aren't lieing when they say motherhood is busy and tiring. I think the first few weeks were a total blur of exhaustion and adjusting. I'm definitely feeling like we are in a routine now and am loving being a mom to moses. He is such a happy baby. I think his favourite thing to do is smack things with his hands, and yell "Da" with all his might. It's pretty adorable.

Anyways, here are some photos of moses. He has changed so much. In Ethiopia he could sit up for a total of 30 seconds and now he's crawling around our house.

trying to crawl

trying even harder...

eating baby food for the first time... mmm... sweet potatoes.

discovering baby swings!

walks with cousin z.

exersaucer time! aka... .mom gets a shower!

Finally crawling and so proud!!!

All dressed up going to his first wedding.

jolly jumper!

always chewing... Mosey now has two teeth on the bottom!

He's now pulling himself up onto things and loves to stand!

First time at the ocean.

Eating his first cracker! It's so cute watching him figure out how to get it into his mouth.
